New term is nearly upon us!

The summer holidays are nearly over, but that means our autumn term is nearly here! Choir starts back on Monday 4th September and we can’t wait to get back in the swing of things! New songs and revising Christmas numbers from last year will be keeping us busy. We will be supporting BHT again this year on Saturday 16th December, so keep the date free!

Last half term is in full swing!

We’re into the last half term of the academic year and we’re busy learning new songs: “T’ain’t what you do (it’s the way that you do it)” and “When you’re Smiling” are keeping us busy. Listen to this great version by Louis Armstrong

And for all you lindy hoppers out there, the inspiration for our arrangement of the “shim sham” song

New Year New songs!

We can hardly wait for the new term to start!

Upstairs at the Eagle, Gloucester Place, 7.30pm this Monday, 9th January

We will be starting with new song “Choo choo ch’boogie”. Have a listen to the fantastic version by Louis Jordan for inspiration here!

Singing for charity this Christmas

We are delighted to have been asked to perform as part of Brighton Housing Trust’s Big Christmas Collection. We will be singing at around 4pm in the Atrium of Churchill Square shopping centre. Pop along and support us for this great cause, and please throw something in the collection buckets if you can!

Following our performance, we are having our choir Christmas social. Expect some choir flash mobbing around the lanes…!
